How rich is Kassie DePaiva? As of late-2016, sources estimate that her net worth is over $4 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. Kassie DePaiva Net Worth $4 million
Kassie started her career as part of the Grand Ole Opry at the age of 18, which she was a solo artist. She sang back-up for Bobby Womack, and also worked as a back-up singer around Nashville. During this time she also produced three of her own albums, before attending Indiana University. She then attended UCLA and studied theatre, however, she dropped out before graduation to travel to Asia and perform for USO troops. Her official debut was in 1986’s “Guiding Light” in which she portrayed Chelsea Reardon, and would stay in the show until 1991. Two years later, she began her most popular role in “One Life to Live”, playing Blair Dalmler Cramer who was formerly portrayed by Mia Korf. She had to remove her Kentucky accent for the role, as it didn’t fit the character she was portraying. Her popularity in the role would help her net worth increase dramatically. She stayed for nearly 19 years in the series, until it was cancelled, during which time the fans liked her pairing with Todd Manning, so she then got to reprise her role of Blair for guest appearances in the daytime serial “General Hospital”. She was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards for her work in “One Life to Live”, and also received four nominations for Soap Opera Digest Awards.
In 2014, it was reported by Soap Opera Digest that Kassie had been cast in NBC’s “Days of Our Lives”, making her official debut in July 2014, and would start to increase her net worth once again. However she was let go from the soap in 2015, making her final appearance in early 2016.
Aside from her television work, DePaiva has starred in several movies, including “We Are What We Are”, “Undone”, and “Evil Dead II”, adding somewhat to her net worth.
For her personal life, it is known that Kassie married actor James DePaiva from “One Life to Live” in 1996; they have a son. She was previously married to Richard C. Hankin(1988-95). Kassie announced in August 2016 that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
She’s also known to do charitable work, and once sold crochet hats to support The League for the Hard of Hearing.
