Master P’s daughter Tytyana Miller’s cause of death has been revealed.
The 25-year-old died of accidental fentanyl intoxication at a private residence, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner (via People).
The rapper, 52, mourned Miller’s death in a May 29 Instagram post, two days after she died.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” he wrote at the time.
“Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”
Master P’s son Romeo Miller also mourned Tytyana via Instagram at the time.
“Although this is sad times, I’m forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister,” the actor told his followers. “Love on your loved ones, life is short.”
Two months later, Master P spoke of his “hard” grieving process during a “CBS This Morning” appearance.

“I feel like, going to my daughter’s funeral, I feel like I went to my own funeral,” he said in July. “I don’t even want to go to no more funerals.”
Master P noted that Tytyana had “a lot of life left in her,” adding, “She was a happy woman that knew that tomorrow she could do something better. … I love her. I think about her every day.”
Prior to her death, Tytyana and her family members were vocal about her addiction struggles on “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
“When people hide that they have a problem, they’ll never overcome it,” Master P said in a 2016 episode. “She was like, ‘Dad, I want to be better. I want to get myself together.'”
